First of all put your camera onto the right mode (there is a little picture of a video camera that must be in line with the silver dash). Then focus your lens on what you want to film. To record you have to press the little round button to the right of your display screen; it is the second one down from the top and has 3 tiny pictures to the left of it - a back view of a camera (on top), a red dot (in the middle) and below a small blue symbol (not 100% sure what it is? :S) When you have finished recording press the button again to stop filming.
