you can do it many ways... for instance, you can record yourself via webcam or through a video camera and upload it onto your computer. that was the way I used to do it.
You can record on Windows Movie Maker by using the Narration feature. (Note: There is no Narration feature in the Windows Live Movie Maker version).

Record gameplay with fraps if you are using a pc then use Windows Movie Maker to save the film. ((Look in youtube to see how to upload videos from Windows Movie Maker)) If you are a consol gamer ((Xbox 360, PS3, Wii etc.)) then get a screen capture card. If you are using handheld devices such as DS, Gmaeboy, etc then you'll have to record with a regular video camera and play at the same time.
There is no Narrate feature on Windows Live Movie Maker (which I presume you are using in Windows 7). You will have to use your Windows Sound Recorder to narrate or record voice on. Then import the file into Windows Live Movie Maker.In the 2.6 version of the program (the Vista version), there is a Narrate feature available. But, even that feature is rather persnickety. I always use sound recorder for voice.You can find your own Windows Sound Recorder under:> Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sound RecorderI had the same problem. Make sure you go into options and under webcam select the correct audio recording device.
