First you have to check and conform there is no earth leakage in your home.

Then conform the earth is perfect. then check the P-N , P-E and N-E voltage.

If the P-N voltage is less than that of P-E voltage, problem is IMPROPER NEUTRAL of your supply system.Means, you have to balance the load of the supply system or conform the neutral earthing in distribution transformer side by the help of Electricity board authority.

If the P-E voltage is less than that of P-N voltage , you have to strengthen your earth.

After that all above mention, you will get P-N V is almost equal to P-E V and N-E V will come around 0-3 V.

If V in battery voltage equals 5volts Resistor 1 equals 6ohms and Resistor 2 equals 4ohms What will be the volt meter Vout read?

4.5 Volts

Why micro controller doesn't accept RS-232standards?

Micro controllers work on CMOS logic where the voltage levels are 0 & 5volts or 0 & 3.3 volts, whereas RS 232 protocols define voltage levels to be +12v & -12v. http://www.dnatechindia.com/index.php/Tutorials/8051-Tutorial/Serial-Communication-Basic.html

.Use Ohm's law to find the applied voltage if the current is 5 amperes and the resistance is 3 Ohms?

ohms law states V = I*R; V = (.005)(1000) = 5volts.

Is there anyway you can test the TP Throttle Position sensor without a scan tool?

yes. with a voltage meter, but you must know what wire is your signal wire and 5volt reference.should be almost nothing at idle and up to 5volts full throttle. gm jim THIS WORKED GREAT!!! HTTP://92lude.com/idle_air_control_bypass_mod.htm

How do you test a short to voltage on a throttle actuator tp 2?

You didn't supply make/model/year and if it is drive by wire or cable operated, but can back probe the signal wire/pin at the throttle body. When the throttle is operated (by hand if cable operated, or with someone stepping on the pedal for DBW). You see a voltage change on your meter usually between 0<5 volts, if it stays at 5volts it is shorted to power.

Are low voltage landscape light bulbs direct current or ac current?

Answer Most likely DC If they plug into the outlet of the home without a transformer (Little heavy boxlike plug such as you see on a cellphone charger. then they are most likely DC. You can look on the plug if they are not solar, and usually see some information on the transformer such as input = 120v ac and Output = 12v DC, The output voltage is the voltage that you want to look at. For example: If you have a IPOD and it uses 5v to charge it, then in the Car charger for that said IPOD is going to be a transformer that converts the 12v from your car down to 5v. The Input would be 12volts and the Output would be 5volts. Same witht the house charger, the only difference is that the House Charger would convert the 120volts AC (Input) down to the 5volts DC (Output). invariably it will be a low voltage AC/DC invariably will a transformer to isolate and reduce the voltage to a low value. solar does not require any tranformers and/or wireing of any kind the power is the battery being charged by the sun during the day.Another AnswerIf the lamps are incandescent, then it doesn't matter. Incandescent lamps behave in exactly the same way, regardless of whether the current is a.c. or d.c.

What is a cmos gate?

A CMOS gate is a logical switch used in electronics. CMOS stands for Complimentary Metal Oxide Silicon. These types of semiconductors have a very high input impedance, are very sensitive use low current and work over a larger range of voltage. The alternative is TTL(Transistor to Transistor Logic) which work at 5volts only and draw higher currents. A gate, is a switch that changes state (on/off) depending on the logic voltage levels applied to it's inputs.

How much voltage does four 4 5v batteries have when in sequence eg positive wire to negative back up to positive and so on Does it add up to 18 volts total or it remain at 4 5volts?

That type of arrangement is known as a "series" combination. Its schematic diagram looks like this: ----ⱶ|-ⱶ|-ⱶ|-ⱶ|--- The voltage between its ends is the sum of the voltage of the individual cells. If each unit is nominally a 4.5V battery, then the end-to-end voltage is nominally 18 volts, but it can only supply as much current (amps) as any single one of them can. If all 4 positive ends were connected together, and all 4 negative ends connected together, then you'd have a "parallel" combination. The nominal output voltage would still be 4.5 volts, but it could supply 4 times as much current (amps) as a single one of them can.

How much current flows through 2 ohms with a 1-5volts battery?

Use the symbols "I" for current, "E" for voltage, "R" for resistance.One of the forms in which Ohm's Law can be written is:I = E / R.Applying this equation to the question:I = 5 / 8 = 0.625 Ampere = 625 milliamperes
