If the speakers have 4 ohm single voice coils, you need to wire them in parallel** instead of in series. To do this, simply jump from the positive terminal on one speaker to the positive terminal on the other, and from the negative terminal on one speaker to the negative terminal on the other.
If the speakers have dual voice coils (two sets of positive and negative on each speaker) then they must be wired differently. If they have this configuration and your final impedance is reading 8 ohms, that means that they've each got dual 2 ohm voice coils.
To achieve your 2 ohm load at the amp, then, you have to wire each voice coil on a single speaker to each other in series** in order to raise the impedance of each speaker. You do this by connecting the positive from the first terminal to the negative of the second terminal. After you have done this on each speaker, you now have two speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms.
Now connect the two speakers by connecting the remaining terminals in parallel, meaning positive to positive and negative to negative. If you followed these directions correctly, you now have a final impedance of 2 ohms for the set.
I have 2 kicker comps n a sealed box and they slam
put 2 speakers in series
a ported box will hit the lows better than a sealed box. and they will hit harder.. but a ported box will be louder.
so they can be put into sealed double glazed units to lower heat loss and reduce noise
Concealed wiring - is any wiring hidden from view. That could be either wires running in a conduit, sealed under a layer of plaster - or - wires running above a false ceiling.
Dynamat Dynamat Dynamat make sure u use a true 4ga for power 12ga for speaker make sure box sealed up tight and at least 3/4in thick wood and ported to kicker specs a must a sub only as good as the box its put in also u can take a can of undercoating and coat the inside of your box also a stiffening cap or extra battery never hurts either, a amp works on current the more it gets the loader its gonna be
They get a slight clean up. if you clean an egg you reduce its shelf life because it has a protective layer that keeps it sealed.
Holes or helium can reduce the weight of a container, if you are going down the helium route, you better make sure it is sealed.
no
Sealed is correct
you just have to move fast and be careful not to land or step in any water puddles
There are none. Modern cars have their lubricated parts permanently sealed to reduce maintenance. Unfortunately the boots can leak and then they can't be refilled with grease.
