The M-16 already has very little recoil.
You can never stop recoil. You can reduce the felt effects, but, the recoil will still be there.
to reduce recoil
Recoil when firing gun can be reduced by calculating which ammunition would be the lightest and slowest load while still getting the job done effectively. Also, a recoil pad may be installed to help reduce the amount of recoil.
Weight is what affects recoil. Cut the barrel, reduce the weight, recoil will increase if all else is equal.
The word reduce is one possibility.
UMP45 because its automatic and overpowered. The only benefit with the the M16 is that it has barely any recoil. I would go with the UMP45. It's really a comparison of apples and oranges. The UMP is a submachinegun, whereas the M16 is an assault rifle. The UMP fires a pistol cartridge, thus, you're looking at an effective range of 50 to 100 metres, vs. the M16, which has an effective range of 550 metres at a point target.
for beginners what i started off with was the m4 and a psg, now when you get better and make another account, you could use an ak74 or mp5 for best kills. but if you are a noob then use the m16 to get used to recoil because it has low recoil and work your way up to the ak and sniper :D
shut up homo shut up homo
It is used to reduce the recoil of the rifle and as a grip for cocking the barrel.
try replacing the but pad with a limbsaver and/or change the stock to a heaver one
You will have to shoot different brands to find out which is "best" for you.
The M16 is considered powerful due to its lightweight design, high rate of fire, and accuracy, which make it effective in various combat situations. It fires the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge, known for its flat trajectory and reduced recoil, allowing for rapid follow-up shots. Additionally, its modular nature enables customization with various attachments, enhancing versatility and operational effectiveness. This combination of factors has made the M16 a favored choice for military forces worldwide.
