All web serves have troubles sometimes. Wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

The refresh key does exactly what it says, it refreshes. IF you are on the internet, it reloads the page I if you are on your desktop, it reloads the desktop image and all of your Icons and processors. If you are anywhere, It will reload whatever you are doing
What does a dot after the first answer by and last edit by mean?
Actually what that means is there was a small glitch in WikiAnswers. To get rid of the dots, refresh the page, or simply close it and go back to it.

On the left side just above where it says your username/name it says sign out click that to log out.

Also, click on the "WikiAnswersTM" logo at the top of any page, which takes you to WikiAnswers Home; then click the "Answer Questions" header/link at the top of the right-hand column on that page. You'll see just the newest questions, even ones from a few seconds ago. To refresh the list, just click your browser's Refresh Page icon.
Has the text on the top of WikiAnswers that says ReferenceAnswers always been there?
The ReferenceAnswers logo was added when Answers.com and WikiAnswers combined into one website in early 2010. The ReferenceAnswers logo is to let you know that you're on a reference page, as opposed to being on a Q&A or WikiAnswers page. As you'll notice at the top of this page, it says Answers.com | WikiAnswers, just like Answers.com | ReferenceAnswers.

You look on the side of the WikiAnswers and it says sign out on a blue background.
