The engine you are describing does not use a timing belt.
The timing chain in that engine is engineered to last pretty much the life of the engine. Unless you have a specific reason to change the timing chain, routine maintenance does not include replacing it.
However, if you absolutely need to replace the timing CHAIN, you'll need to remove the pulley end (passenger side) of the engine housing. I can't think of any way of doing that without removing the engine.
How to time a 6 cylinder motor
The 1991 2.5 L 4 cylinder has a timing chain and ita bear to get in and out This motor has timing gears it doesn't have a chain or a belt.
It has a timing belt. In fact, all cars have timing belts, due to the nature of the piston combustion engine. Motor bikes have timing chains.
timing chain. the timing chain is ment to last as long as the motor does . does not require replacement unless it breaks and if it does i hope its not a interfearence motor
Yes. If the timing is off, the pistons will damage the valves
Oil capacity for your 1999 Saturn DOHC 4-cylinder motor is 4 Quarts of oil
will a broken drive belt damage the motor of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4 cylinder truck
