You can remove stains on ceramic tiles with bleach. Put on gloves and use straight bleach with a scrub brush. After you get the stain off, clean the area with a mild soap and rinse.
Just another tip i was given to use. try using vinegar to clean the glass and tiles or bicarb. I have used both (alternate them) and they work fine on our bathroom
MR. Green is the best way to go with cleaner in the bathroom. It wont fade or bleach it, just make it squeeky clean.

Ceramic tiles are more attractive in a bathroom than linoleum.
Its not ideal but if you overboard the existing tiles with hardboard or similar to remove the uneven surface you would get caused by the grout joints you should be ok
