with a screwdriver DELCO Actually, there are no screws: just 4 7mm head bolts in head unit itself. To get there is a bit of a journey. Eveything is held in place using clips. They are stiff, but no problem if you're carefull. 1st, remove the panel under the steering wheel. This makes it easy to remove the little trim panel with the "i" buttons to the left of the wheel. This has 2 clips, so it's a bit of a fight. Be sure to pull it out as straight as possible to avoid damaging the clip mounts. Then remove the trim panel over the glove box door the same way. There are about 5 clips on the back of it. Then remove the trim aroung the radio. It has 6 clips, 3 along each side at the top, middle and bottom. Remove the head unit bolts and pull it forward.

Valley trim is usually installed onto the roof preceding the actual roofing panels. If you are using standard panels with W-Valley trim (or similiar) the Valley trim is screwed directly into the lathe using "Quick-Drill" (metal-to-wood) screws.

to remove the dash trim around the stero unit, find the screws under the ac/heater controls that are on the trim, to remove the rest of the trim you need to remove the plate around the shifter too, so take the screws out of the shifter's plate. remove the rest of the screws around the trims and you should be able to pull the trim out of place.

to remove your radio you need to remove the dash trim first... remove every screw you can find in the dash trim (plastic trim) most of the screws are on the bottom and near the ashtray the top snaps into place (try pulling downward on the trim after you remove all the screws). once you have this removed, there are 2 screws top and bottom of the radio, remove them and the radio will come out, the rest is easy.....
