You can usually remove the decorative valance from the top of the blind that covers the headrail and find information about the manufacturer of the blind. Contact the manufacturer and they should be able to send you a few more clips.
In poker games with blinds, 'chopping the blinds' is a custom that can happen when all other players fold to the blinds before the flop. The blinds then remove their bets, ending the hand.
You simply spray the fabric vertical blinds with Febreze.
The best way to clean window blinds depends on which type of blinds one has and how much buildup they have. If the buildup is minimal, simply dusting them or taking a lightly damp cloth to them will do. For fabric or vinyl blinds, one could use a dry sponge. For wood blinds a small amount of water may be used. If the blinds are metal, remove them and clean them outside.
The best way to remove mildew from fabric blinds is to prepare a solution of bicarbonate of soda, lemon juice and white vinegar.
First dust off any current dust from your window blinds using a feather duster, but if you don't have a feather duster, you can also use a soft cloth to remove dust. Also, if you notice that the blinds are soiled, use a moistened cloth or antibacterial wipe to remove the soiled spots. Finally rub a dryer sheet on the blinds. This will HELP keep dust from collecting, it won't totally stop the dust from eventually collecting on the blinds, but it will slow down the process.
There are at least a dozen companies in Tucson in this line of work. However it would probably be cheaper to remove your blinds and have it done at their shop. The Blinds Doctor however will do this. You can go to www.theblindsdoctor.com for more information.
There are replacement parts available at a Walmart, Target style of store. You can salvage the wand itself as it is usually the small plastic clip (at the top) that breaks. The replacement clips come in a package with several more than you need for the job, yet they are still inexpensive. Good Luck! Douglas
Removing the housing is pretty simple.. there are two nuts on each housing that hold them onto the rear valance; you can get to them from behind the rear valance panel. Use a socket and rachet to loosen them up all the way off, unlug the backup lamp wires and remove them from the Mustang. source: http://www.averagejoeresto.com
Remove the end cap.
the valence electron of lithium that is easily removed is the 1s2 electron
The trick is getting the gear that is holding the strings in place to let up. Generally you can pull straight down on the cord and while pulling down, gradually pull cord toward center of blinds. If this does not work try turning the gears using the wand (change the angle of the blades is the x direction). This should release some of the tension on the mini blinds and get them to close(y direction). If this doesn't work try using something small to manually manipulate the gear (gently) to one side. I do stress that if you have the blades turned all the way in the x axis then they will not move.
