Pry out the gear selector trim with a screwdriver and lift it out.
Open the console lid and remove the screws on the bottom.
Remove the screws on both sides of the console.
Lift the console up and over the shift lever.
Disconnect any electrical connections and remove the console from vehicle.
The radio unit on a Hyundai Elantra is held in place by a mounting bracket found behind the center console. First remove the center console then remove the screws on the mounting bracket. The radio will be able to slide forward. Once pulled out remove the wire harness that plugs into the radio.

Remove the screws holding the console to the floor. 4. Lift the console up and over the shift lever. Disconnect antenna electrical connectors and remove the console from vehicle.
