If yourr talking about the side view mirror switch then it pulls right out.

Remove the front door sail panel. There you will see 3 bolts holding the side view mirror. Remove bolts, replace / or fix side view mirror. remove the wire hardness. Installation is the reverse of removal.

well i have a durango and im shure the setup is pretty much the same .REMOVE THE DORE PANNEL AND THIER WILL BE A CONNECTION FROM YOUR MIRROR TO YOUR DORE DISCONNECT THIS WIRE AND REPLACE WITH NEW MIRROR SET UP.

On a 2001 Ford Expedition : The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is located in the front passenger footwell , by the kick panel

on top of door panel behind the mirror. remove the plastic cover by prying it off. remove the mirror nuts, and then remove mirror. if it has mirror adjustment cables on it. just remove these cables, and put on with new mirror if needed.
take window adjuster case of...remove the nut, is there a special tool to remove the mirror unit. There is a thread on the new mirror which goes into the door
