You will need a 1/2 inch socket with a long extention and a rachet. Remove the two bolts that hold the straps on. (support Tank first with a jack raised so you can lower it down) Remove the filler neck from body. Drop tank down till you can get your arms in above don't drop too far. Unplug and disconnect all elec. and gas lines. It's all yours now. Wished they would have cut a access panel in trunk to get to the pump and sender. would make alot of people happy.
Unfortunately you have to remove the tank, siphon as much as you can and then remove the tank.
I think you have to remove the drive shaft, remove the straps to the tank and drop it, of course disconnect the battery, and remove as much gas as possible.

Fairly big job, you have to drop the gas tank and if I remember correctly, you have to drop the drive shaft, and the fuel pump is in the top of the gas tank which you will have to remove and replace. Hope this helps alittle
