If you are running Windows Xp, try performing the (System Restore) function. You will find this item in the Control Panel folder, under the Maintenance option. After selecting Maintenance, you will see two boxes in the upper left hand corner, one of which should say System Restore. Click on that, and try to restore to an earlier date. If that option is not available, create a restore point, then exit, get back into System Restore, and then do a System Restore to the point you just created. The file that has been corrupted might be cleaned up. If you are using Windows 98, go to the start menu in the lower left hand corner and select programs, accessories, system tools, system information. In system information there is a pulldown menu bar with tools as one option. Under tools you will find system file checker. Run this to find corrupted files and repair them.
