If you are in Windows, go to Start, Control Panel, Add remove programs.
If you are on a Mac go to Places, Applications, and drag the Application to the trash. You can then empty the trash bin.
Usually, the first place to go to when removing a software application from your computer is the Control Panel. From there, depending on your version of Windows, you would either go to Add/Remove Programs or to Programs and Features. You should see the application on the list. If you don't see it, you might have to look for it both by the application's name and the manufacturer's name. If it is not there, then that will take more work.
From there, if you cannot find the application listed under the list of installed programs to remove, there are a few other places to look for ways to uninstall it. If it is a browser plugin like a search bar, you should look in the sections of the browser related to managing "add-ons" or "plugins." If it is in there, then you can likely remove it.
If it is not a browser plugin, then you can check its start menu area to see if an uninstaller is listed. If not, then go to the correct Program Files folder (if 64 bits, you will find 2) and look for the program there. If it is, look for a file with the name of Uninstall.exe or Unwise.exe and try to run it.
One other strategy would be if you want to remove a program you failed at attempting to remove the wrong way. That would be to attempt reinstalling the program and then uninstalling from the control panel.
Yet another strategy would be to look for a 3rd party uninstall tool and have it remove it if possible.
If you must do things the "hard way," here is how to do it. You find its folder under Program Files (or "Program Files 32" if it is a 32-bit app running under a 64-bit OS) and delete the entire folder for the application. Then do a local search to see if parts of it are elsewhere on the hard drive. If there are individual files in critical folders, remove just the files, but if there are dedicated subfolders for the app in question, delete those in their entirety. Then you can load Regedit and scan for the name of the unwanted app, and you can delete entries or entire keys as is appropriate. Then to be sure, you could run a registry cleaner. However, try to stick to the programs you have uninstalled as to not cause accidental corruption. Registry tools are no longer recommended, but they can remove traces from old programs.

Open your control panel. Click on Add/remove software. Find it on the list of software, and click on it to remove it. Re-boot your computer afterwards, and it should be deleted.
All you should have to do is exit the program. If for some reason that doesn't work, you can reboot the computer.
It should be able to, but it won't run as quietly or efficiently.
Computer software engineers should have a background in software and computers. They should also have a bachelor's degree in computer science.
In my limited capacity with working with different software packages I view system software as drivers that gets your computer up and running whereas application software is installed to perform needed tasks such as article spinning, fixing system errors or monitoring your system for ad-ware, hackers or virus's. But whatever the case both system software and application software should be made to be compatible with one another.
The best software you should go though Microsoft they have the best computer software that you can purchase. They will also help you locate the best software for your computer.
Well if you are already on a computer you can use putty or winscp from a windows computer to access another computer. i recommend winscp as a more regular application. if you aren't already on a computer the operating system should be able to set a password for different accounts
Anti-virus are system softwares only. Though they are installed as an application, still they are used to ensure the proper functioning of the computer. So it is indeed a System software. Please let me know your thoughts. It's a very interesting question. Read more on it here. http://it-kids.blogspot.com/2009/05/chapter-1-introduction.html -Vignesh.
