If you are attempting to remove the center air vents in the dash panel you will need to:
1. Remove the driver side Cigarette Lighter and the Passenger side Auxiliary plug-in. To do this locate the slot at the bottom on the each of these that will allow you to pop it loose with a screw driver.
2. After removing the panels un plug them and set them aside. You will then see 2 screws, remove these.
3. Carefully pry the panel loose. It will pop off but use gentle force so you do not break the panel.
The air vents come off with the panel. From there you can remove them or clean them...
The Ford F1 50 air conditioning vents are held in place by four retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining clip. All of the air conditioning vents can be removed this way.

To remove center air vent s a t20 tool is needed. Unscrew, climate control unit and compartment. After it is pulled away, their vents are exposed. To remove air vents unscrew bolts and pop out of place.
I have a 99 Ford F250 super duty. When I turn on the fan to the heater and AC I can hear air moving in to the vents. No air moves out of the vent on any setting. It is like all vents are closed. what could be the problem. I have replaced the switch. I check the blower motor.

To remove the air vents on a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT, a person will have to pry them out with a screwdriver. Apply gentle pressure between the vent and the dash.
the radio is below the center of the windshield, right below the air vents... If you mean how do you REMOVE the radio then that's another question altogether. PULL out center air vents, REMOVE ashtray, there are 2 bolts there and 2 where you removed the air vent. Remove those and your there.

You have to remove the vents of the air ducts. Then use a vacuum to remove any debris. After that you can use a stringy mop to dust the rest of the vent out.
Replace the cabin filter. remove panel under dash on pass side.
I'm not sure what vents you are talking about, but usually air vents are known to be working if there is air flowing through them.
