Remove the two 10mm bolts that attach the air box to the frame just under the gas tank. Then you can drop the bottom of the air box and pull it out sideways
Changing an air filter on a 2005 Honda Accord requires opening the air box in the engine bay. Remove the clips that hold it shut and open the box. Replace the filter.

Transmission filter on a 2000 Honda Accord is located under the air filter housing. Remove air filter housing and then locate the Transmission filter. There are a couple of bolts to remove and one can be a bit difficult. Once the old one is removed snap a new one in (there is a spring that you will have to feel by hand to make sure it is in correct). Replace the air filter housing and then you are good to drive.

Open the locked door on the tank in front of you. Remove the plastic tray, and there it is. Remove the wing nut, slide the filter cover to the right side then tilt it up towards you. Remove the air filter, and replace with a new one.
