That all depends on what sort of web editor you are using or if you are using one at all. If you are using an editor you simply make the correction on the copy of the page you have in your computer then replace the file to that page stored in your web server. if you are working in HTML without a web editor its a lot more fiddley to fix but the same applies when it comes to uploading to the web.
