First - If you were the one to place the spell, go to your Book of Shadows, find the spell, research the appropriate Moon phase and house, herbs, candles and other needful ingredients and go ahead and remove it. I will not at this time admonish you about magical ethics or the Rule of Three, for all it seems appropriate.

- If you did not keep a record of this, or any other casting then I will say you deserve whatever comes your way. But you still have the responsibility to remove it so you have your work cut out for you.

Second - If you are not the person who placed the spell, but know them, go and ask them to do the above.

- If you are not the person who placed the spell, but feel you have enough power, motivation, experience and need to remove this spell, you will need to do a couple of things.

1) ascertain there is in fact a spell on the person (and it isn't just a boyfriend interested in someone else, or someone who has honestly fallen ill) and try to determine what kind of spell.

2) you will need to check your source books for the appropriate moon phase & house, herbs, candles, oils, incense and other ingredient (this is where the above mentioned experience and power come into play) Write the entire ritual down. Read it over carefully and assemble your ingredients. Meditate and check your ethics (are you doing this for the right reasons?). Then at the appropriate time, perform your ritual (exactly as you have written it, do not deviate as you may need to know what you did at a later date).

- If you are not the person who cast the spell and you are not a practitioner of witchcraft, do not attempt this yourself. Seek out someone you are comfortable enough with to talk openly about this with and whom you trust enough to do "the right thing". Remember, if you are not a witch, you will have no idea if you have corrected the problem or made it worse. It is perfectly alright to go to a spiritual leader ( of any religion) you respect, and discuss this with him/her.

Finally - if you are the one who has been spelled, and you do not know, trust or want to deal with the person who cast the spell (first be sure there really is a spell, lots of people claim they've done it, just to scare or manipulate you), you will need to ask yourself if you are willing or able to perform "magic" in order to remove "magic", sometimes we forget that two wrongs do not make a right.

- If you are not comfortable with the use of magic and know someone you trust and respect who is, ask them.

- If you are not comfortable with the use of magic and its practitioners, go to your own spiritual advisor and ask for help. Please don't start another "witch-hunt" by running in claiming to be under an evil spell, be rational and calm.

- If you are comfortable with the thought of using magic but are not a practitioner yourself, then the easiest and most effective uncrossing system I know is to make an infusion (tea) of lavender, clove, pine, rosemary & sage, into the cooled infusion add a tablespoon of sea salt. In a bath tub pour the mixture into the water and completely submerge yourself make sure you get all of you wet, then rinse and go. (Alternately in a shower, pour the mixture over your head, get all of your, hair too, wet then shower as normal)

Just don't believe that the Evil Eye works. The "Evil Eye" and other curses work only because the person who has been cursed believes it to be true. If you read about the subject in objective books, you will quickly see that it has no power but that which you give it.
