Try concentrated OxiClean and some scrubbing. Having grown up in South Florida. I thought Croton stains were the kiss of death for any clothing, but I found strong OxiClean, mixed thick in hot water, and some scrubbing, particularly on synthetic clothing more-so maybe than cotton, completely removed the stains with some focused attention, and saved a garment that was very nice and that I didn’t want to throw away. Give it a try!

We lived in Miami for 33 years and never found an answer. We considered croton stains to be permanent and never wore clothes we cared about when cutting crotons.
