some wut of an Answeryou take off the center bolt then you rent/buy a harmonic dampener puller/installer and screw the three 3/8 bolts into the harmonic balancers body and pull it off by turning the center stud wich seperates the balancer from the crankshaft. and follow the same steps for re-installation now you are pressing the new balancer on the crank make sure the keyway on the shaft and the pulley are aligned or its gonna cost you a new crankshaft and if you replace the crankshaft might as well re-build the engine.
