If it is the same as the Saab 9000 (probably is), then it will be through an access pane in the boot floor (just behind the rear seats) undo the t25 screws (hex drive) and remove the pane, then you should see another, pane in the top of the fuel tank. Undo these screws and you will see the pump, dont worry its not 'in' the tank just in a flap on the tank. Then take off the feeder pipe (slow and steady is the key as they do break). and hope your looking at a Walbro unit 8mm fitment as these cost just under
Pull the adjustment lever and pull them straight forward and they slide out.
no the tank is under the driver side and the mech pump is on the engine block by the rear right hand side suspension, follow the fuel line back, the easiest thing to do is replace with an electric pump by-passing the mech one and fitting the electric one at least a foot from the tank, this gives it an easy life, wire the positive into a switched live (the coil) the earth straight to the chassis and away you go! remember to leave the mech pump attached so as to avoid oil leaks but bypass it with a new length of l line!!! check for leaks with the engine running as the new pressure will show up any deteriorated fule lines and joins, i would replace all lines connectors and clips to be on the safe side !
In the 1999 V70 the fuel pump relay is located under the hood, right in front of the windshield on the driver's side. There is a cover labeled fuses. There are fuses under the easily removable cover. That cover is attached to a larger cover held on with 4 T25 screws in the corners. Remove the 4 screws and the larger cover lifts off revealing a number of relays. The large orange box with 103 written on the top is the fuel pump relay. It can be pulled straight up to remove.
The lens is held on with two t25 screws. Remove them, pull lens of, reverse to install.
The grill has to be removed first, then remove the painted trim below the headlamp, finally remove the screws holding the headlamp. All screws are torx drive. t20, t25, t30.

T25 windscreens are indirectly glazed to the body, i.e., the glass sits in a rubber gasket which lips over the aperture, or pinchweld, of the vehicle. Although not a complex job (compared to others) there are some safety issues which must be observed; for this reason (also if you want to remove the glass without damage to either the glass, the vehicle, or indeed yourself) this job is best executed by a trained professional. Is the glass cracked?
