The best bet for removing double flared plugs, or getting them in for that matter, is to take a very hot shower for about 30 minutes to get your skin to have more "stretch". After the shower, they should pop right in. Just remember that you should take out flared plugs EVERY DAY to clean them and so that they won't get stuck in your lobes to begin with.

∙ 15y agoThat can hurt a bit but I would recommend putting a little bit of bacitracin or even vaseline on one end and it will slide through your ear pretty easily, that is what I do and usually have success.
