Try downloading a program by the name of Avast it's a great virus scanner/protector :)
It's not really a virus...
No, is a torrent downloader

Hi Just a suggestion but make sure you have the latest virus definitions from symantec then restart PC in Safe Mode run anti virus scan in safe mode and see if this makes a difference. Go to Symantec web site and follow suggestions on how to remove all downloader virus files from PC.
Yes. The free program called YouTube Downloader is virus-free. Simply go to onlinetut.com and grab your videos not virus. http://www.onlinetut.com/tutorial/downloader/home.jsp
I think that some more info is needed like what operating system you use, have you tried to do it from a bootscan, what virus detection system do you have before this can be answered.
I got rid of it easily with bullguard anti virus. I just used the free trial and five of them came up where my other anti virus software and addware remover didn't even spot it. It even showed me how to remove one file from my backup files.
Either fine out where it is in your computer and manulay remove it or get a real antivirus such as nod32 or kaspersky.
I want to say that i used systheal antivirus to scan my system. I think that the performance of that antivirus was good than Quick Heal and Avira Antivirus.
I suspect that you have System Recovery turned on. You need to turn it off and then boot to safe mode to remove the virus (most of it). Check the Start/Help for how to do this.
Invest in a good anti-spyware, anti-malware, and anti-virus program to clean up your computer. Make sure you get regular updates to ensure your virus protection is up-to-date. If it does not work, you may have to format your hard-drive and start over.

For support within the United States and Canada, call toll-free (866) PCSAFETY (727-2338). This is the Microsoft virus line, the call is free if you call them they will walk you though the steps for virus removal
No. It lets you download up to 7 times faster
follow this exactly...Go to kaspersky.com, download it, remove old anti virus, install kaspersky, update kaspersky, unplug your internet, scan your entire PC with kaspersky, it will find it and remove it and might restart your PC to be able to do so if it is a stubborn virus, uninstall kaspersky if you do not wish to keep it (but you should!), install your fav anti virus again.
Have you checked at the AVG website? They have some separate programs you can download for these trojeans their regular anti virus program wont get rid of.
Get Hijackthis, a freeware program. Scan for the refence to the file that AVG can't remove. Redo AVG virus scan. Reboot, repeat if necessary.
I downloaded the free version of AVG anti virus and this scanned found and deleted the trojan. It resides in the comm.dll file. Hope this helps
