How do you remove the inside driver's door panel on a 2000 Volvo S40?
On the driver side kick panel. Remove dash panel next to fuse box.
Using a screw driver, remove the screws and remove the clips from the door panel. Remove the panel slowly, remove any wire connections, and pull the panel off the door frame.
Remove all screws and very very carefully slide the screw driver behind the panel and pull out.
In the front passenger footwell behind the kick panel ( there is an access plug in the kick panel to remove )
i think you should buy special tools for it or ask a mechanic.

to remove the plastic panel over the a/c switches you need to first remove the radio then you need a socket to remove the a/c swiches because they are part of the panel there are 4 bolts one in each corner of the space left after you remove the radio.
IT IS MOUNTED BY RIVETS. YOU MUST DRILL THEM OUT
