1.You remove all the trim and handles from the door panel (interior trim and handles)
2. remove the door panel and sound pads so the metal and opening into the door is exposed
3. there will most likely be 2 bolts holding the window to the regulator remove those and you can take the window out.
I usually roll the window half way down and then remove it to reduce the risk of breaking it in the door.... that's a mess to clean up
use a couple of cups to store the nuts and screws you take out so as not misplace them
