paint thinner... that removes lots of stuff... but sometimes too much. Or just soap and water. a soak in a warm water, ammonia solution works great, but don't soak too long or you can actually dissolve the glue that's holding the brushes bristols in.

Removing linseed oil from wood doors is not a difficult process. Simply apply turpentine to the doors with a rag, then wash them down with warm, soapy water after the turpentine has been allowed to sit for at least 30 minutes.

There are some paint strippers available at you hardware store that may help with the task however the cost of the stripper may well exceed the cost of purchasing a new paint brush. I have never been satisfied with an old restored paint brush as it will not spread paint well after such abuse. Throw it away and save yourself a bunch of frustration and remember the next paint job is not completed until you clean out the brush.

Another alternative is to save your old paint brushes until you are using a commercial stripper for another project. Then it would economical to use it for your brushes.

Oil based house paint, both interior and exterior should be cleaned from your brushes as soon as possible after you have finished painting using varsol, turpentine or other paint thinner.

Oil based artist paints should be cleaned from your brushes as soon as possible after you finish painting using paint thinner or a commercially made brush cleaner, dish soap is also a viable alternative that has been used for many years. The substance is made to cut oil and is safe to use on any type of brush. Where as commercial brush cleaners may utterly destroy the bristles.

How do you remove paint brushes on Neopets?

By painting your pets at the rainbow fountain, selling the paint brush, donating the paint brush, or discarding it. If what you're asking is how to get the paint brush off after you have already painted your pet, you have to paint your pet again with a paint brush, rainbow fountain, a random event, and there's a chance that the lab ray will change the color of your pet.
