Simply edit the question - and choose up to three categories. Once a question has been allocated at least one category - it is removed from the 'uncategorized' section.
The Uncategorized category just holds questions until the questions can be categorized.
There is no automatic way to take you to the oldest of the questions in the Uncategorized category. To see all the questions in the Uncategorized category, click on the Related link.

Uncategorized questions are questions which have no specific category. These type of questions can be pulled from a broad topic range and can cover various subjects.

We do have the category Questions About WikiAnswers and a category Questions about Answers.com Questions get put in misc or uncategorized when a user does not choose a category.
At any given time, Uncategorized will most likely have the most flagged questions due to the sheer volume of questions in that category.

Probably because like this one, you are not asking questions that fit into a specific category. If you were asking about history or cars or something like that it would be in that category.
When the batch recategorization supervisor tool launches in August the "Uncategorized" category will likely start decreasing in size. Furthermore, when the automatic categorization engine under development is completed it might be possible to go back and automatically assign categories to all questions that are currently in the "uncategorized" category.
