Support the car with blocks after jacking up the rear axle. Don't ever reley on the jack alone. Work safely, use safety glasses.

To remove the rear shocks from a Sportrack it is best to remove the rear seats first. Remove the carpet, and two small access covers secured with four 12mm bolts will be found.

At the top of the shocks the plastic cover housing the adjustable ride unit, 8mm three blots will need to be removed carefully.

With this removed the 17mm nuts can be removed holding the shock in place. The shock will need to be stopped from turning by use of a bar or other method. The bottom nuts are straightforward to remove.
