There are wing nits inside the trunk to remove the housing.
at the front o/s wing! you will need to remove the plastic wheel arch guard to get to it.
Hi It is in the passenger side wing mirror. If you look on the underside there is a small bobble. That is it. You nedd to remove the glass to remove the sensor.
Located behind the ds/ front wing of the car. You have to remove the inner plastic mud flaps!
Prise off inside black cover opposite wing mirror inside the door gently with a screw driver, inside you will find three 10mm threaded bolts holding on the wing mirror. One of these bolts is covered with a small grommit. You will also have to unplug the connection for the electrics on the wing mirror to release the mirror fully.

on a clio 172 ph2 (facelift )its not a cable its a sensor its on the gearbox just below the power-steering bottle it will cost you £25.35 On a clio 172 ph1 ( prefaclift) there is a cable, take off inner wing/plastic arch, peel back the sound guard. Once this is done disconnect the cable at both ends.. Next, at the bulk head pull the cable free, thread the new cable in and connect to accelerator and then to the throttle body, put on clip to hold the cable in place... put back sound deading and inner wing, all done..

From "Haynes Land Rover Diesel 1958-1985 (up to C registration Disconnect the battery earth terminal and then the sidelight and headlamp harness at the snap connectors in the engine compartment. Remove the securing bolts and lift out the mud-shield from under the wing. If working on the driver's side wing, remove the steering box mud-shield. Using a socket wrench, remove the bolts securing the wing to the scuttle pillar. Remove the bolts securing the wing and to the sill panel. Remove the bolts securing the rear end of the wing to the upper mounting bracket Remove the bolt securing the wing to the steering column support plate. Finally remove the bolts securing the wing to the grille panel. With an assistant, lift the complete wing assembly away from the vehicle.
