Unfortunately, you have to remove the transmission.
no years to far apart
When the fuel pump goes out on 92 geo metro is it sudden or slow
Where is the tensioner
The heater inlet hose on a 92 Geo Metro is located in the rear of the engine compartment. It runs through the firewall and connects to the heater.
Yes 1litre 3 cylinder.

how do you remove a distributor rotor on a 92 Nissan sentra
It should. To better check, go to local parts store and check the Haines Manual...is should be for both Geo Metro and Geo Storm, just check that is bolts up the same.
Your heater core may have gone out. Or you could have build-up in the lines.
Yes, just make sure the screws line up. Some model variations may not line up correctly.
a reliable car is i 92-94 geo storm or geo metro but even a more reliable car would be a lombo this is chance im out
Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Slide rotor off hub (if "peel off" type)
The orginial Metro comes with 12 inch tires which has to be ordered special. you have to go to bigger tire. i am about to swap my 12's out. get with dealer.
Brake rotor? 2 wd? Remove wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor rotor should "peel off" hub If not "peel off" type Remove center dust cover from hub Remove cotter pin Remove slotted washer Remove nut and washer (bearing will fall out) Rotor will slide off spindle
I believe the '92 Metro has three wires (two in one connector, one in the other) to the alternator.
Either 3 or 4 depending on which motor you have. Count your spark plug wires then you'll know.
Probably in the 3,000 to 3,500 range.
Remove the center bezel and the glove box. Take out the four screws holding it in and then reach through the glove box opening and remove the mounting bracket screw then push the radio forward and unplug the connector and antenna. That's it.
Yes you can put AC in a Metro but I don't recommend it. My Metro has AC but if you do put it in it will slow your car down horridly and it will cause your high MPG Metro to drop down to that of a normal car. So it's sort of a comfort vs practicality debate :)
My 92 model Geo spark Plug gap is 0.39 thousands of an inch. One Liter 3cyl/5sp. Plug is a ngk BPR6ES-11 Hope this helps
From what I have read 92-95 are pretty much the same depending on model for ex. a base model may have some different parts from a lsi.
ON MY 92 TRACKER, THERE ARE TWO HOLES IN THE ROTOR THAT YOU PUT 8mm BOLTS INTO. THEN YOU ALTERNATELY TIGHTEN DOWN THE BOLTS AND THE ROTOR IS SLOWLY DRAWN OFF OF THE HUB. BASICALLY THE BOLTS PUSH AGAINST THE HUB AND THE ROTOR IS DRAWN UP THE THREADS OF THE BOLTS AWAY FROM THE HUB. USE A PRY BAR ACROSS/BETWEEN THE LUG STUDS AND HOLD WITH ONE HAND WHILE YOU TURN THE RATCHET ON THE BOLT WITH THE OTHER, SO THE HUB DOES NOT SPIN WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO TIGHTEN THE BOLTS.
Most Geo Metro, Chevy Metro, Suzuki Swift, Pontiac Firefly from 1991 on should use the same fuel pump. Just go to a junk yard and have them look it up for you. I don't think a Geo Storm pump will fit though, another car company made the engine and drivetrain IIRC.
