How does a ketell boill?

A Kettle boils due to electricity heating a coil or metal base at the bottom of the the kettle, giving off heat to the water, the warm water rises replaced with cooler water which gets hot and so on until the kettle has boiled.Steven Kettell is an Associate Professor in Politics and International Studies at The university of Warwick, UK and he boils when when you blankly suggest all forms of socialist ideology are paradoxical and could never operate successfully.

What are the functions of moving coil instrument?

The function of the moving coil is to deflect the instruments needle across a calibrated scale to give the meter operator an accurate reading of what ever he is testing. The moving coil is given a minute current, through internal instrument circuity, a sample of the potential that is being measured.

What is a heating mantle and how do you use it?

A heating mantle is the best way to heat a liquid in a round bottom flask. The heating mantle can be either rigid or soft, but heats the flask by heating an electric coil which surrounds the round bottom flask. Heating mantles come in different sizes to best match the size of the found bottom flask for a snug fit around the entire bottom of the flask. They are commonly used in distillations and other heated reactions.A heating mantle if much better than a hot plate because the heating mantle makes contact with the entire bottom surface of a round bottom flask. It is also much better than a Bunsen burner for heating flammable liquids.See the Related Questions and Web Links to the left for more information.

Heating Conduction where it is used?

In computer heatsinks the heat of the CPU chip is conducted to the heatsinks (which then use convection to shed excess heat). In an electric stove the coil is heated up and the heat is conducted to the cookware you put on it.

Can resistors keep a magnetic coil from heating?

Hi, Not really. All they can do is limit the voltage and current going into the coil. The heat is a byproduct of the `transformer action` and all coils will heat up some. If you're giving it too much voltage, a resistor could help to bring the heat level down to an acceptable level if it's running too hot. If you're using DC for your magnetic coil, take the available voltage, then subtract the operating voltage of the coil and divide that by the current of the coil, which will then give you the value of the resistor you need. Example: 12 volts (available) - minus coil voltage, divided by the coil's current in milliamps (or amps), which equals the value of resistor in ohms. As for the power rating of the resistor (in watts) just multiply the available voltage times the current of the coil, giving you a rating in watts, and then pick a resistor with at least that much power handling capability or go a size larger if you wish. (This isn't the exact formula, but it's close enough to take care of your needs, I think.) Hope this helps, Cubby

How does a dehumidifier work and are they expensive?

dehumidifier has a cooling coil and a heating coil. When air is passed through the coiling coil, moisture in the air condenses and drips in the bucket. Heating coil heats the air back to room temperature.
