Try salt and seltzer, but depends on fabric. Test on small inconspicuous area first to be sure it doesn't stain. Suede and microfiber should be cleaned with approved cleaner, can be found at Home Depot.

If it is a smooth leather you could try a leather cleaner. There are good ones on the market that will remove things like this. If the it is suede you could use a suede brush on it and brush up the nap.

I am assuming you no longer want the couch and just want it removed from your residence. A cheap and free way of getting rid your couch is to post an ad on craiglsist.org for the Denver, CO area listing your couch for free with the exception that they have to remove the couch. You could also contact the Salvation Army in your area, they may be willing to remove the couch for free for your donation.
