On my 1995 Bayliner the VIN or Hull number is stamped into the right side of the TRANSOM
No Igor, Bayliner's are not allowed.
On the starboard side of the transom
Do not put a car starter in your boat, boat starters and alternators cost more because they are sealed to keep any electrical sparks from blowing up your boat if there are any gas fumes in the engine bay. The cheapest way to go is to take it to a rebuilder and have yours rebuilt. You will be taking a big risk if you use an automotive starter and it is also illegal by coast guard guidelines.
Bayliner has a website you can visit to view the catalogues online, these are categorized by year. You can also contact their customer support team and ask for the relevant year.
That would largely depend on what type and size engine the craft is powered by.
depends on how the motor runs/ how the boat was kept up. i bought my 1985 bayliner capri for 1500 with the trailer. It needs interior work and the motor has me some problems, have put about 200 dollars in it so far. depends on the boat.

Boat... starter... huh..?
This is a Bayliner, built in 1989, most likely a smaller bow rider/runabout.
The starter in a boat is sealed so that it can't ignite an explosion of fumes in the bilge. You could put a boat starter in a car, but it would be very dangerous to put a car starter in a boat.
