get a tire iron and yank hard
Remove cam gear, remove broken back cover, replace back cover, replace timing belt.
The timing chain cover IS the oil pump. You need to remove the dampener pulley (that's the pulley that drives the serpentine belt) then you can remove the timing chain cover/oil pump.
hi your cam sensor an a petrol vectra b is under the rocker cover the bit where it says ecotec remove this panel and u will c the spark plugs remove all the bolts from the rocker cover and u will have to remove the top half of the timing belt cover to access the cam sensor it is in between the cam pullies.
Unfortunately sounds like your timing chain stripped or broke. Remove cam cover and see if gears are turning and if chain is tight
its on your valve cover. Passenger side.

Over head cam, remove the valve cover and timing belt
cam cover is on the left side, the bolt that holds it on is on the right side, loosen up the bolt and tap on the bolt will cause the cover to pop off
remove the spark plug cover. and the valve cover to reach it its right under the cam pulley
some of these bad boys have a magnet in the timing cam gear must remove timing cover on these models
you have to remove the valve cover , the oil pan and the front timing cover. Then line up all the timing marks and remove the tensioners and guides then remove the cam gears and the chain
It is on the top rear of the valve cover. You will have to remove the plastic cover on the top of the engine to access.
