Then you must drill out the rivets that are holding the power window motor in place, unplug it and remove it through one of the holes in the door ( remove the plastic covering) For re installation it is a bit tricky, have to transfer a couple parts onto the new unit with screws or rivets, and putting the window motor in, you need big rivets or possibly short bolts but they are hard to get in. Then plug it back in and put the window back in, and do up the two bolts that hold the window on. Good luck.

I have a 91 and just had the rear window replace by a window installer. Remove all screws, use a small pri-bar to remove panel and then remove molding around the window. Lower the window about half way down and using a bar hold the window frame steady drill out two rivets and loosen two bolts holding the sliders. These are inside the panel. Pull old frame out and put new window in from top. We used short bolts to install new window in where rivets were drilled out and reassemble. Good luck.
