you will need a spanner to fit the hub behind fan, special tool , 32 or 36 mm from memory, or you can grind one down. Then hit spanner with hammer to loosen ; remember it is left hand thread !

Hello....NO. You do not have to remove the radiator. The water pump splits in half so you have just enouph room to get it out. First remove the fan blade while the belt is still on. The belt will help stop the fan from spinning when your removing four bolts. Buy your water pump ahead of time and you will see what i mean when i say the pump splits in half. Big Ed.
