Right hand side, pull the cover forward and off (this is the passenger side equivalent to the fusebox cover). There's a screw there. Undo that. Carefully pry from there, up the front all the way along the dashboard, it all clips on from there. Pull forward, at the lip of the glass is more connectors, it should pop straight back.

You have to put the car up on jacks and remove the driver's side front tire, then remove a plastic cover plate, and the battery will be behind that. It's incredibly difficult and it makes no sense to me, but there you have it.
