Disconnect the battery, there on the side of the engine.
Easy to locate they have thin wires going to them. first off soak them in dw40 for a few hours before trying to remove them.
This will loosen them up so they don't break. Get the new ones and make sure they match to the old ones.

In all turbo diesels you have to remove the valve covers to get to the glow plugs.
