To change the glow plugs on a Case 970 diesel tractor, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Remove the engine cover and locate the glow plugs, which are typically found near the cylinder head. Disconnect the electrical connections and unscrew the old glow plugs using a socket wrench. Install the new glow plugs, reconnect the electrical connections, and reassemble the engine cover before reconnecting the battery.
The Case 380 had a David Brown 3 cylinder liquid cooled diesel motor with a displacement of 2.7 liters.

Change the plugs and wires at 100,000 miles unless you experience poor performance or a drop in MPG. In that case change them sooner.

First off you have to know what kind of pump it has...ie.. a rotary, where the fuel lines are in a circle out the back of it or an in-line where the fuel lines come out the top.
