The speed should read fine with a GM speedometer, as the 110 and 150 are calibrated to go into the same cars with the same transmissions.

Either way, who cares what the speedometer says, my dad is a cop with a personal squad, I had him to a clock test with my car, again the speedometer says 110 but I was clocked at 134mph.ANSWERwell if the spedomiter says 110 its not stock and two if your only doing 134 you don't have to worry about any computer or govoner cause if you cange the factory setting of 150 you still ain't gonna go any faster if the gearing in the trans and rear end wont let it go faster 4 speed auto right if you get a hypertech programmer you can change the rpm at witch it will shift into the OD gear (i think this trans is able to go full throttle in OD not 100% though)drop it to like 4800 4900 as opposed to the factory setting of i think 5300 maybe 5500 for 3-4 not shure i know 5500 for other gears that way you get into OD gear earlier and then you can go 150 SHOULDA BOUGHT A 6 SPEED 150+ no prob you should watch your speed cause your acctual ain't gonna match your spedo with none stock gauge

(I have a 92 RS 5.0 and 3rd Gen enthusiast) You can remove the governor by swapping out your chip in your ECU for a performance chip. (to the post above, the 305 5.0 is a toss away engine) Blow that and get urself a brand new Crate 350. Good Luck :)
