how do you change valve cover gasket 2004 hyundai elantra
Consult the owner's manual. Then, open hood and look for the plastic (or metal) cover on the back of the headlight unit. You have to carefully remove this spring-loaded cover to reach the bolb. You can rotate and remove the cover; then you will have access to the bolb.
# Unplug the electrical connectors and remove the halogen bulbs # Remove the front combination (park and turn signal) light housing and the screws along the top of the front bumper cover # Remove the headlight housing mounting bolts and remove the housing
The PCV valve is located in the valve cover.
spark plug cover:)
you have to remove the screw on cover from back of head light houseing remove retainer clip unplug wires from headligt take bulb out. I find it easer to remove the whole houseing from the car because if you do it the way Hyundai wants you have to remove the battery from the car
2002 Hyundai Elantra gls has no transmission oil pan, to have your transmission oil changed you have to go to the Hyundai dealer. if you mean the engine oil pan, facing the front of the car, it's off of left center underneath the front of the car, you can tell by feeling in back for the oil plug. the oil filter is also left front underneath on the passenger side of the car. there is a little cover with 2 screws, remove the cover to remove the oil filter. after replacing the oil filter replace the cover.
What do you mean by headlight cover? What are you trying to do?JW
The valve cover bolts need to be torqued to 72 to 84 IN-LBS
Headlight cover? The headlight can be removed by first removing the bumper cover. THen all the bolt that attach the headlight to the vehicle will be exposed. The "cover" is glued to the headlight housing.
So the right answer is to locate the battery, remove anything in your way (engine Cover, air filter box, etc.) remove the negative the positive then the hold down. To install reverse the procedure.
