Pull the light switch to the "on" position,then reach up behind the dash board to the back of the headlight switch,which isn't very far up the back of the dash board,feel around on the switch for a spring loaded button on the switch body,push the sring loaded button and pull the switch shaft out. After the switch shaft is out,there is a flat nut with slots cut on the front of it on the outside of the dash holding the switch to the dash board,turn the flat nut CCW to remove the nut. This should release the switch from the dash board,pull switch from the back of the dash,unplug switch.Replace in reverse order.

There is no fuse for the headlights in that truck. The circuit is protected by a circuit breaker located inside the headlight switch.

To change the headlight on a 1993 Chevy truck, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the headlight by pressing the release tab. Remove the headlight by unscrewing the retaining clips or screws, depending on the model. Finally, replace the old bulb with a new one, reassemble the headlight, and reconnect the wiring harness.

Unplug harness from back, depress pin on unit to release pull lever, unscrew nut and it comes off.
With no key you will have to drill out the existing tumbler assembly from the switch in order to unscrew the ignition switch bezel.
you dont HAVE to remove it but it does make it easier. removing the column it not very difficult.
Chevy trucks do not have an Inerita switch. Only ford.
you have to remove the steering wheel, after that you need a tool to releave the tenison on the plate that looks like a sun there is a clip to remove. after that if you look where the switch is you will see a screw, if you remove it the switch will come out.
As with most 80's and 90's GM vehicles, the headlight dimmer switch should be the blinker arm. Just give it a light pull toward the steering wheel.
