You will need to remove the retaining ring at the top of your 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
First you will need to remove the steering column cover which will expose the ignition switch. Remove the connector and the three bolts holding it on. Pull the switch out and replace.

This may sound ridiculous... but force the the ignition switch until the detent "breaks" and you can turn the ignition switch without the key. The risk here is that you could possibly break the assembly that the ignition switch inserts into. If you can get the switch to rotate from the lock position one position clockwise, then you can release the switch from underneath the steering column and pull the switch out. The alternative is to have a locksmith get the ignition switch to rotate one position clockwise and then you can remove the switch and replace it with a new one from any auto parts store.

1. Remove the steering wheel and the upper and lower steering column covers. 2. Take the connectors off the multi-function switch and remove it with the screw that hold it to the steering column. 3. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connectors. 4. Remove the switch mounting screws and take the switch off. 5. Installation is the reverse.
remove the upper and lower covers on the steering column. ignition switch has a couple of bolts holding it on the left side. may require a female torx socket to remove. Has large wiring harness that plugs to bulkhead connector underneath dash.
How do replace the ignition switch on 1995 Honda Civic EX with a manual tranny. I was wondering if it is pretty much the same as the 1995 Accord.
