I have a 1987 jeep comanache 4.0 that runs hot . I have put in a new 160 degree thermostat , a new eater pump and a radiator and a water sending unit. but it still runs hot . Can any tell me wants wrong? Thanks Rick jrhar36@aol.com
there may not be one if there is it is on the bottom if not you just remove the bottom radiator hose to drain

drain remove fan and shroud undo top and bottom hoses and remove about 4 bolts.
To replace the thermostat on a 1987 Nissan pickup, drain the radiator. Locate the thermostat which is under the top hose assembly, and remove the screws holding it in place. Put the new one in position and refill the radiator.
remove the two hoses and the two hold downs on the top and the just lift out

the radiator is the lowest point in the system also everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional manual available...in the reference section, you'll have to make copies of the important sections...good luck :)
