Removing a radio from a Rover 25 is easy and quick. All you have to do is remove the trimming with a flat head screw driver, unscrew the panel, take off the panel, unscrew the radio, then take out the radio.

It takes a very small Allen wrench in the holes located on the face of the radio (one on right and left). Loosen them and the metal retaining clips will be disengaged and you can then remove it.

Yes, its located in the back of the stereo. Depending on the year and model of your Land Rover. In my 99 discovery 1 to remove the radio you need a number 9 tamper-proof torx precision driver. insert the driver into the holes on either side and turn about 10 turns anticlockwise. ( these screws DO NOT come out of the radio DO NOT FORCE THEM!)
