Removing a radio from a Rover 25 is easy and quick. All you have to do is remove the trimming with a flat head screw driver, unscrew the panel, take off the panel, unscrew the radio, then take out the radio.
I don't think you mean "Land Rover"!
It takes a very small Allen wrench in the holes located on the face of the radio (one on right and left). Loosen them and the metal retaining clips will be disengaged and you can then remove it.
To remove the car radio from a 1999 Rover 414, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Use a pair of radio removal keys or a flat tool to gently pry the radio out of its housing, inserting the keys into the slots on either side of the unit. Once the radio is loosened, pull it out carefully and disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back. Finally, store the radio in a safe place if you plan to reinstall it later.

Yes, its located in the back of the stereo. Depending on the year and model of your Land Rover. In my 99 discovery 1 to remove the radio you need a number 9 tamper-proof torx precision driver. insert the driver into the holes on either side and turn about 10 turns anticlockwise. ( these screws DO NOT come out of the radio DO NOT FORCE THEM!)
The radio fuse on a Rover 400 Series is typically located in the fuse box, which can usually be found in the driver's side footwell area or under the dashboard. To access it, you may need to remove a cover or panel. Refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for the exact fuse layout and identification to locate the specific fuse for the radio.
