remove the center padded section on the steering wheel and you will see a large nut holding the wheel on, loosen the and take it off and then you will need a wheel puller to pull the wheel back off of the splines to take it off.
Yes, but it looks completely different.
to remove the ignition switch from a 72 Chevy first remove the steering wheel, then remove the three screws that hold the turn signal assembly the turn signalhandle will unscrew if there is no cruse control if there is the handle will have a screw holding it in place this must be removed under the turn signal assembly there is a screw usually a #27 torx remove this and your ignition switch will slide right out
you don't.
Hammer and crow bar, guaranteed.
You can make it fit, but chances are the wiring harness will be different as well as the length... Especially the length. You can try it if you have one laying around, but I wouldn't pay for a '72 steering column if you are working on a '75 Chevelle. now, a steering column from ANY 1973-1977 GM A-body should work just fine, so if you can't get one from a '75 Chevelle, you DO have other options.
Yes.
if the buick is also an A body they will work as the chevelle is an A body.
