if it is what i think it is there is a nut that you put a bolt in that pulls the sump down

There are two 10mm bolts hidden inside the transmission bell housing. Transmission has to moved.

Remove the sump, you may need to tap with a soft-head hammer. This is one of the easiest sumps to remove with the engine in the car.
