Under the dash above the radio remove the plastic panel this is a common place for the CB check under there.
Under dash on drivers side. You have to remove the panel that covers the fuse box.
i heard the fuse box is under the dash, below the steering wheel. u have to unscrew about 4 screws to remove the dash panel to get to the fuse box.

The fuse is located either under the dash or in the engine department. If you look they should all be labeled. In addition there is a handy fuse puller located under the dash as well. ! It us under the hood to the right of the battery (labeled) once you remove the fuse box cover and yes there is a fuse puller under the dash.

Toyota matrix 2004 cigar lighter fuse is under dash. 1st take white fuse remover and 15 amps fuse in fuse box #2 under the hood. Put your head on brake look under dash you will see fuse cover under bunch of wires. remove cover drawing is on the cover.
When you open the doors the fuses are under the caps on the ends of the dash
On most models it is mounted in the center of the dash under the main fuse panel which is located under where the cb sets. At least that is where it is in my truck.

Remove the 5 amp fuse from the fuse compartment next to driver's door to left of dash. In my 2003 v70. It is fuse #38. But best to check your manual. Someone else said it was fuse 29. I think it depends on the model year. Remove fuse and you should be good to go.
